This is Chloe hiding under my desk.
Chloe is very sorry that she had to use the little doggy room around 1 a.m.
She's even sorrier that she met a skunk that DID NOT want to be her friend.
She's even more sorry that she decided to bark at the not-her-friend skunk.
And she's sorriest yet because she had to have THREE baths with the special shampoo to get her smelling better.
I'm very tired because Mr. Hovland and I were up at 1 a.m. de-skunking our dog (and then our house) because she came back inside before anyone could stop her. She left a wafting trail of ick the whole way.
So if you wanted to buy a book, today is a good day. I'll put your purchase toward restocking my hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
